Kelowna didn't become a food city in 2025. It became an officially recognized one. The orchards, the vineyards, the market gardens, the chefs, and the syilx stewardship that underpins all of it were here long before UNESCO wrote it down — and in our case, we've been setting tables beside this lake since 1926.
